UPDATE: THE HARD INTERCHANGE WILL NOT OPEN UNTIL AT LEAST 2nd JANUARY 2025. PLEASE CONTINUE TO USE THE TEMPORARY STOPS.
On Monday 22nd July The Hard bus station will be closed for major road works. These works are expected to last six months. All First Bus services will arrive and depart from Stand L out on the main road in front of the dockyard gates. The bus station building and our travel shop will remain open. You can still buy First Bus tickets and National Express from the travel shop. Staff will be on hand to direct you to your bus or coach.
Melton Road will be closed form 1st – 4th August. Services will divert as below:
25 Outbound - From Leicester College via Abbey Park Road, Abbey Lane, Thurcaston Road, to continue normal route towards Beaumont Leys Shopping Centre.
26 Inbound - From Thurcaston Rd via Abbey Lane, Abbey Park Road to continue normal route to the Bus Station.

From the 22nd July - 4th August, Melton Road will be closed. Services will divert as below:
Inbound - From Wyvern Avenue, Barkby Rd, Catherine Street, Dysart Way, Belgrave Circle & Belgrave Gate to follow normal route to the Bus Station.
Outbound - From Leicester College, via Dysart Way, Catherine Street, Barkby Road & Wyvern Avenue.
