Church Street, Great Baddow is closed for roadworks from Friday 13th December to Tuesday 17th December 2024.
Due to the location of the road closure the C6 service will be placed on diversion:
Towards Great Baddow, BAE Systems: Service C6 will operate to normal line of route - all bus stops served.
Towards Chelmsford: Service C6 will divert, after serving BAE Systems, via Maltings Road, Park View Crescent and Vicarage Lane. The following bus stops will not be served:
Due to earlier anti-social behaviour - services are omitting Acre Rd
2 Services are diverting via Middleton Park Ave, Sissons Rd, Sissons Terrace - In both direction.

London, UK, 9th December 2024 – Instead of plugging in headphones or burying heads in books while travelling on public transport, residents in Leeds are striking up conversations with strangers, as new research shows almost a quarter (24%) have made long-lasting friendships with people they have met on the bus.
The team donated £2,000 worth of toys and gifts, along with a special box of chocolates for the care team, as part of their commitment to supporting EACH as one of their chosen charities for 2024.
The gifts will play a key role in EACH’s much-loved Winter Wonderland events, which offer members of the public a chance to get Christmassy and meet Santa Claus. These festive fundraisers are taking place on Sunday, 8th December, at EACH’s three hospices: The Nook, near Norwich; Milton, near Cambridge; and The Treehouse, in Ipswich.
Instead of plugging in headphones or burying heads in books while travelling on public transport, residents in the East of England are actually striking up conversations with strangers, as new research shows over a third (36%) have made long-lasting friendships with people they have met on the bus.
Services will be revised throughout the holiday period and will vary by area. A summary of changes to First Bus South’s timetables over the festive period are below:
