Bradfield Road, Manningtree will be closed for utility asset works on Friday 15th March 2024 (between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30).

Service 104 will be permitted through the road closure.

Please note: there might be slight delays to service as the bus will be required to wait to be let through the closure.

St Christopher Road, Colchester will be closed for roadworks, from Tuesday 12th March to Friday 15th March 2024 (between 20:00 and 05:00 hours).

The 2A service will divert (in both directions) via Ipswich Road. Please note. the 2A service will pick-up/drop-off passengers at bus stops on Ipswich Road whilst placed on diversion: St Johns Post Office, Myland Hall Chase and Eastwood Service Station.

The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions):

Kings Road, Chelmsford will be closed overnight for roadworks, from Thursday 7th March to Friday 8th March 2024 (between 20:00 and 06:00 hours).

The C2 service will divert (in both directions) via Broomfield Road, Patching Hall Lane, Partridge Avenue and North Avenue.

The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions):

Vicarage Road, Roxwell will be closed for roadworks from Monday 4th March to Wednesday 6th March 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure the 46 service will divert, in both directions, via the A1060, Boyton Cross Lane and Stonehill Road.

The following bus stops will not be served:

• The Hare
• Green Lane
• Village Hall

First Norwich has been supporting Norfolk Police with targeting drivers who choose to use their mobile phone behind the wheel. 

Officers will be equipped with video recording equipment onboard designated routes, supplied by First Bus. They will use the vantage point of the bus to identify passing motorists who are committing offences whilst driving.

Monday 4th March 2024: Cancelled Journeys

We regret to inform you that a number of our Colchester services have been cancelled today. We understand the frustration and inconvenience this may have caused you.

Please be assured that we are working tirelessly to restore full service as soon as possible. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated as we strive to get the services running smoothly again.

Temporary diversion of route 20 Monday 4th March.

Due to technical difficulties, route 20 will be diverted via Kiln Road, North Hill, and A32 Wickham Road in both directions.
We regret that will are unable to serve Funtley Village or Mayles Lane until this issue has been resolved.

Temporary Stop Closure, White Oaks 1000 -1500 Monday 4th until Wednesday 6th March.

This closure will affect the stops in both directions.

Due to communication works, the above stops will be closed on date and times shown.
Passengers are advised to use the alternative stops supplied by the contractors.

Alternately you can use the stops at either: Fareham Collage or Peak Lane.

From Sunday 1 April 2024, we will be introducing new timetables across our network as part of our twice-yearly network review. 

Working closely with Somerset Council and local user groups, the changes take into account amends to the 25 and 28. These include retiming evening services on the 28 to align with trains serving Taunton station, as well as the X28, a new express service from Taunton to Butlins in the summer.

In addition, a brand new service 22B will serve the Wellesley Park area of Wellington.
