First Bus is making minor service updates to 33 routes across Glasgow from Sunday 20th April as its new AI-driven timetables continue to improve reliability for customers across the city.

Previous changes using AI-driven software have led to an average 8.3% improvement in punctuality across over 30 routes. First Bus believes these latest updates will continue to create a better and more reliable service for customers throughout Greater Glasgow.

ROUTE OPEN AND SERVICE BACK TO REGULAR ROUTES NOW

Due to a fire on the M8 at the Kingston bridge the motorway is currently closed Eastbound.

This has a knock-on effect with the Clydeside Expressway

Motorway control has also closed M77 to lighten the traffic on the M8

Due to a vehicle fire at the M8 Eastbound at Charing X, services to divert as follows:

South side of river

Clydeside Expressway seriously affected. 500 services instructed to use Renfrew Road, Govan Road

1/1C/X4 - M8 eastbound

Due to a car fire on M8 Eastbound services to divert as follows:

Use Stobcross Road until further notice.

Halifax Road - 681

Temporary lights at Halifax Road causing delays to service 681. Service will omit Halifax Road Works area and will divert as follows:

681 Bradford: Via Woodside same as service 682 route, Royds Hall Lane, Fenwick Drive
