Heavy Congestion in the Kirkstall Area - But Services across the network are operating with lengthy delays, cancellations and shortened journeys expected

466 Service

Chestnut Avenue (Wheatley Hills) will be closed.

466 service will operate toward McAuley School, Chestnut Avenue, then divert via Thorne Road, Sandal Park Drive, Ennerdale Road, Central Boulevard to resume normal route on Sandal Rise.

Sutherland Street will be closed from 19:00, and services will be diverted. 

X2 sevices to Maltby/Doncaster will divert via Newhall Road, Attercliffe Common, Atterclife Road and Savile Street.

X3 services to Sheffield will divert via Brightside Lane, Newhall Road and Attercliffe Common.

341 & 341a Services - St. David's Drive

Due to gas replacement works 341 & 341a services will divert via Newlands Drive (like a 341a), Malvern Avenue, Cusworth Lane, York Road, Barnsley Road then follow normal route.

From Monday 30th September, College Road will be closed to the 25 services until further notice.
 

25 services to Keele will divert via Stoke Road and Station Road.

25 services to Hanley will be the same as it is currently via Leek Road.

75 & 782 Services – Until further notice

Wortley Road, High Green has been closed between High Green roundabout & Foster Way due to a burst water main.

75 Service diverted via School Road, Greengate Lane, Foster Way, Thompson Hill, Hague Lane, Potter Hill Lane, Cottam Road, Foster way, Greengate Lane, School Road (Both directions).

Sheffield United FC vs Swansea City – Wednesday 2nd October (18:45-22:15)

(from 1hr before kick off until 1hr after the final whistle)

Bramall Lane will close for a substantial period. Shoreham Street will also close sporadically between Alderson Road & Charlotte Road roundabout.
