95a, X5 Service disruption – Until further notice

Retford Road has been closed in one direction due to roadworks prior to Furnace Lane.

Inbound services diverted via Main Street, Swallownest, Chesterfield Road, Beighton Road, Furnace Lane, Retford Road.

Longton Hall Lane - Diversion (Outbound at 14:58 only).

The 14:58 service from Newcastle Bus Station to Longton will not serve Longton Hall Lane due to congestion issues along this road at the school.

The diverted route will follow Blurton Road and the A50 towards Longton Interchange until further notice.

The service will not serve stops from Blurton adj. to Longton Hall Surgery until Longton Interchange.

All other outbound and inbound routes will not be affected by this change. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Creephedge Lane, East Hanningfield will be closed for roadworks from Wednesday 25th September to 00:00hrs on Friday 27th September 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 3 service will divert in both directions via East Hanningfield Road.

The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions):

38C - Service Changes.

From Sunday 20th October, Service 38C journeys to Cumbernauld will commence from West George Street.

West Regent Street will no longer be served.

Monday to Friday:

38C from Chryston at 07:29 will become 07:19.

38C from City Centre at 08:15 will become 08:05.

Minor alterations to 38A and 38B journeys will also take effect from this date.

Retford Road has been closed in one direction by Yorkshire Water prior to Furnace Lane (near the Princess Royal PH)

INBOUND services diverted via Park Hill, Aston Bypass, A57 Flyover, Beighton Road, Station Road / Furnace Lane then onto Retford Road.

OUTBOUND service unaffected

Armthorpe Lane - Road Closure

Sunday 29th September & Sunday 6th October 08:00 – 18:00 each day

Due to resurfacing works services 381 & 382 will divert via Thorne Road / Zetland Road / Sandringham Road & Armthorpe Road (Towards Armthorpe).

Greenfield Lane will be closed between Florence Avenue and Balby Road.

372 Service will divert via Florence Avenue, Earlesmere Avenue then rejoing normal route on Balby Road.

373 Service will operate as normal to the end of Sandford Road then divert via King Edward Road, Florence Avenue to resume normal route.

Due to water pipe renewal work - Field Road in Thorne will be closed.

Outbound - Normal route up to Thorne Market. Operating 387a route around the South Common to resume the normal route on King Edward Road.
