Glasgow City Centre Diversions

*Update - Temporary lights now working, 77 service to resume normal route.*

Services are diverted due to temporary lights stuck on red at Kings Inch Drive. 

Services affected: 77 

Diversion via Kings Inch Drive, Old Govan Road, Kings Inch Road, Renfrew Road and Shieldhall Road, in both directions. 

Due to ongoing health and safety concerns regarding the use of Carver Street & Division Street during Friday and Saturday evenings, inbound services operated by First have been re-routed.

From 20:00 until end of service every Friday & Saturday (& Sunday evenings on Bank Holiday Weekends) until further notice

Burngreave Road is closed for resurfacing works between Gower Street and Catherine Road.

Monday 23rd until Thursday 26th September (1900-0500) each night

Services affected: 20, 47, 48, 76, 76a & 76e

Services will be diverted as follows: 

Resurfacing is taking place in Meanwood. 

Diversions found below 

38 to Moor Allerton Centre to divert from; Meanwood Rd, Stainbeck Rd, Stainbeck Ln (Sainsbury’s Local), Parkside Rd to resume route.

38 to Leeds Eastgate - Victoria 'D' to divert from; Junction of Parkside & Stonegate via Stainbeck Ln, Stainbeck Rd, Meanwood Rd, resuming route.

Vicar Lane, Bradford to remain open to traffic both ways, under temporary signals, from Leeds Road to Ebenezer Street. 

613, 614, 640, 641, 645 to Buttershaw / 686, 687 to Brighouse/Scholes / 671 to West Bowling / B17 to Heaton to observe below -

To allow for road works from Monday 23rd September until Thursday 26th September - Busby Road will be closed South Bound from 09:00 until 16:00 each day.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 4A & 6 towards Sheddens Roundabout,

Broken down vehicle at Parkhead Terminus.

316 Services to terminate at Holmfirth bus station until further notice.

Unplanned roadworks at Shawhead impacting 201 services.

Services TO divert from Dundivan Rd via Coatbank, South Circular Rd, Bank St, Glasgow Rd, Langmuir Rd, Aikenhead Rd, old Edinburgh Rd, Gartosh Walk, Bellshill Main St and normal route - in both directions.
