First Bus is launching its brand-new, enhanced Norwich Park & Ride service, starting on 30th March, with FREE travel offered across all sites on first day.
Key Enhancements to the Norwich Park & Ride Service:
Grove Road, Gosport, 10/03/2025 10:00 – 12/03/2025 05:00
Due to roadworks in Grove Road, services to divert as follows:
E1 to Gosport:
From Ham Lane bus stop, onto Albemarle avenue/Melville road, San Diego road to the roundabout back onto normal route.
E1 to Fareham:

Fratton Way, Portsmouth will be closed Monday 17th March – Friday 21st March at all times. Services are diverting as follows:
Towards Portsmouth College diverting via Goldsmith Avenue, Priory Crescent, Milton Road, Velder Avenue and back onto normal route.
Towards Goldsmith Avenue diverting via Milton Road, Priory Crescent, Goldsmith Avenue and first exit at the roundabout back onto normal route.
UPDATED 12/03/2025: Original road closure was expected to end 12/03/2025 - it has since been extended and is now scheduled to end at 23:59 13/03/2025.
West Street, Coggeshall is closed for roadworks from Friday 7th March to Wednesday 12th March 2025.
Due to the location of the road closure; the X20, 320 and 570 services have been placed on diversion:
To allow for road works, the A725 Crossbaskets off slip NB to Hamilton Road will be closed on Monday 10th March and Tuesday 11th March between 20:00-06:00 each night.
During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation:
Service 201 towards Hamilton: normal route A725 at Crossgates off slip, continue A725 and take next off slip, left Douglas Street, right Main Street normal route.
Ness Road, Shoeburyness is closed for roadworks from Monday 10th March to Monday 17th March 2025.
Due to the location of the road closure; the 21 and 21A services will divert in both directions via Bournes Green Chase and North Shoebury Road.
The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:
Due to a broken down lorry blocking the road by Lander Monument in Lemon St/Falmouth Road Truro, the U1 service to Newquay will not be running until the road clears.
