681 diversion

Temporary lights at Halifax Road causing delays to service 681. Service will omit Halifax Road Works area and will divert as follows:

681 to Bradford: Via Woodside same as service 682 route, Royds Hall Lane, Fenwick Drive.

M80 Junction 1 North Bound closed.

Services X3, X85, and X87 / Positional trips using M80.

The following service is impacted by delays.

Warning Tongue Lane closure.

Services are diverted via Plumpton Park Road / Goodison Boulevard and Cantley Lane in both directions.

Park Road/Lexden Road, Colchester is closed from 20:00hrs on Thursday 10th April to 05:00hrs on Friday 11th April 2025.

Lexden Road will be inaccessible.

Due to the location of the road closure the S2, 71, X71, 88, 88A and X20 services will divert in both directions via Balkerne Hill, Westway, Colne Bank and Cymbeline Way.

The following bus stop(s) will not be served in both directions:

Rectory Lane and New Street, Chelmsford are closed for overnight roadworks from Tuesday 8th April to Thursday 17th April 2025.

The road is to be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and is to re-open from 05:00hrs each morning.

Due to the location of the road closure, the C9 service will divert in both directions via Duke Street, Broomfield Road, Parkway and Chelmer Valley Road.

The following bus stop(s) will not be served in both directions:

A section of Berechurch Road, Colchester is closed from Tuesday 1st April to Thursday 3rd April 2025.

The road is to be closed from 09:30hrs each morning and is to re-open from 15:30hrs each afternoon.

Due to the location of the road closure; the 50 service will divert in both directions via Mersea Road, Berechurch Hall Road, Berechurch Road and Daniel Cole Road/Gordon Road.

The following bus stop(s) will not be served in both directions:

Due to resurfacing works Bakers Lane in Chilcompton will be closed to service 173 between the hours of 07:30 and 18:00 from Tuesday 3rd through to Monday 9th June (excluding weekend) and services will be diverted to use Wells Road, Silver Street, Redfield Road, Steam Mills and the Withies Park resuming at Riverside Gardens Roundabout. 

This diversion will be in both directions so please check the front of the bus for direction of travel before boarding.
