Latest News
First Bus is extending Service 18 between Fosse Park and the City Centre in Leicester seven days a week. The extended route, via Hinckley Road and Braunstone, will improve local connectivity and provide a convenient travelling alternative for shoppers facing parking challenges at one of Britain biggest out-of-town retail complex, the Fosse Shopping Park.
Potteries Roadworks Update W/C 13/07/2025
Services 25, 501, 9 – Still on Diversion. Outbound via Stoke Road and Station Road and inbound via Leek Road and Lichfield Street.
Services 21, 23, 40A – Still on diversion outbound are currently using Stoke Road to the bottom under the railway bridge then Copland Street into Stoke.
Barkby Road is closed just after the bridge to Troon Way due to emergency roadworks.
Service 21 is operating via Wyvern Ave, Gleneagles Ave, Troon Way in both directions until further notice.
Apologies for the impact on your journey.
Weatherly Drive in Portishead will now be closed to service X4 between 09:00 and 16:00 on Wednesday 30th July to facilitate line painting works.
Service X4 will not be able to serve the Gaunts Close, Police & Fire HQ or the Nightingale Rise bus stops and passengers are advised to board or alight at he Merlin Park bus stop on Down Road just prior to the roundabout at he top of Weatherly Drive.

Service 73,95 Well Lane Treeton until further Notice
Due to roadworks on Well Lane, services are unable to serve Well Lane and will turn at Wood Lane roundabout.
Services to Minehead/Taunton will not be serving Bishops Lydeard WSR.
This is due to parked cars making turning around too difficult/tight.
Passengers can catch the bus from the Lethbridge Arms stop in both directions
Service 18,18A,20 Derbyshire Lane – until Further Notice
Due to low-hanging trees on Derbyshire Road between Chesterfield Road and Norton Lees Road, services to divert via Chesterfield Road, Scarsdale Road and Norton Lees Lane in both directions.
On Saturday 12 July 2025 between 1400 and 1700, many major roads through and around Worcester City Centre including Worcester Bus Station will be closed meaning lots of services are needing to divert. Details are below;
