36 & 36A | Bridge on King Street
On Thursday 8th October, the bridge on King Street will be closed between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00.
Services will divert via Clarence Street, Ashwood, Wood Street, Upper Cross Street, and Anchor Road.
38, 38A, ,39 & 39A | Etruria Road Flyover Roundabout
From Monday 5th October at 20:00 until Saturday 10th October at 06:00 (nighttime only).
The roundabout under the flyover in Festival Park will be closed.
Services will divert via Marsh Street, Waterloo Road, Cobridge Road, and Festival Park in both directions.
7 | Newchapel Road​
Monday 5th October​ until​ Tuesday 15th December.
09:00 to 15:00 each day,​ then​ 20:00 to 06:00 each day.
Services will divert during these times as follows:
To Kidsgrove via Mount Road, Kidsgrove Road, Galleys Bank and William Road.
To Hanley via Whitebridge Road and Mount Road.
13 | Beach Esplanade
Beach Esplanade is closed at 06:00 on 5th Oct for approximately 4 weeks.
Services to Seaton/Scatterburn will divert as follows:
From Beach Ballroom via Links Road, 4th exit at the roundabout and resume the normal service to Seaton/Scatterburn.
Esplanade will not be served.
51 Service - Until further notice (at all times)
Hollinsend Road has been closed between the New Inn & Ridgeway Road.
Services diverted in both directions via East Bank Road, Ridgeway Way & Gleadless Townend (outbound services using Manor Top bus station to turn around).
Yorkshire Marathon
17.10 to 18.10
Due to multiple road closures for the Yorkshire Marathon, our services will divert as follows:
U1 from 10:00 normal to Heslington Hall, Field Lane, Hull Road to City Centre. Only Serving Heslington Hall outbound.
U2 from 10:00 normal to Heslington Hall, Heslington Road, Broadway, Fulford Road and Fishergate to normal route to town.
On the route of the 22, four bus stops will be closed from the 22 October to the 27 November for road works in this area.
The bus stops are on Old Manor Way and called Kinross Crescent and Tregaron Avenue. These stops are closed in both directions.
Please use alternative stops and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused with these works which are out of our control.
