Due to roadworks at Quenchwell Road, there will be a road closure affecting the L1 and L2 services from 10th February to 21st March. Normal service will resume on Monday, 24th March.

During this time, the Quenchwell Road stop will not be served. Students are advised to use the Carnon Downs/Carnon Downs Village Hall stop as an alternative.

Services will be diverted via the A39 and A390 in both directions:

The road between Cades Farm and Wellington High Street is closed for water works on Thursday the 6th of February between 19:00 and 4:00 (07/02).

Services are diverted via:

Towards Rockwell Green: After Cades Farm bus stop, via bypass, Hoyles Road and South Street to resume the normal route at North Street, heading towards Tonedale.

Towards Taunton: After the Three Cups bus stop, via South Street, Hoyles Road and South Street to resume the normal route at Cades Farm.

The A358 at Seven Ash will be closed for Airband Works between 19:00 and 6:00 from Monday 3rd of February (evening) to Tuesday the 4th of February (morning).

Services will divert via Raleighs Cross, a delay of around 20 minutes to journeys can be expected as a result.

We will be unable to serve stops between Bishops Lydeard and Williton.

West Street in Wiveliscombe will be closed from the 3rd of February to the 7th of February for water works.

Buses to and from Dulverton are diverted via Croft Way (instead of Wiveliscombe Square).

Passengers are advised to board from Croft Way during this time.

Buses towards Langley Corner are not affected.

Waterloo Road in Wellington is closed on Sunday the 2nd of February AND Sunday the 9th of February from 8:00 to 16:00  for Openreach works.

Services will omit Tonedale.

North Street Police Station, Sports Centre, Swallowfield, Tonedale and Tile Centre will not be served.

Call Lane has been closed due to impromptu works.

Based on customer feedback, First Bus is introducing fare stages, rather than zones, making single fares easier to understand.

Distance-based single fares (in miles)

From Sunday 23rd February 2025, we’ll be making changes to the 322 / 323 / 324 (Stebbing/Lindsell to Great Dunmow and Bishops Stortford) service.

All three routes will continue to run Monday to Saturday, but will now include the new Grange housing estate in Great Dunmow - running along Blackwater Drive between the Dunmow Tesco store and A120 bypass.

M8 J22-23 West Bound closure.

To allow for Motorway Works on Monday 3rd February 20:00 until Tuesday 4th February M8 J22-23 West Bound will be closed.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 500 towards Glasgow Airport.
