8 Service – Until further notice

Unannounced road works by Northern Powergrid on the junction of Hollins End Road / Jaunty Lane.

Services to diverting via Manor Ridge Way Road, Gleedless Townend, Seagreave Cresent, and Jaunty Lane in both directions.

The following bus stops are suspended, Monday 03/03/2025 08:00 to Friday 07/03/2025 17:00.

Location - London Road, Widley.

Name of Stop 1 - The Hampshire Rose (SW).

Name of Stop 2 - The Hampshire Rose (NE).

• UPDATE 26/02/2025: The diversion route(s) have been revised due to obstructions on original diversion route.
• UPDATE 24/02/2025: The diversion route(s) have been revised and Service 16A added to diversion route.

Old Heath Road, Colchester is closed from Monday 24th February to Friday 25th April 2025.

Due to the location of the road closure the S1, S9 and 16A services will be placed on diversion:

201 and 263 service towards Hamilton diverting via Main St, Auchinraith St, Glasgow Rd, EK expressway, Main St. 

201 towards East Kilbride, diverting Mains St, EK expressway, Douglas St,  Ek Expressway.

263 towards Glasgow diverting via Mains St, EK expressway, Douglas St,  Dstay Douglas St, Main St.

Due to an emergency closure has been put in place by Yorkshire water

Service 1116 is diverting via Mowbray Street, Mowbray Gardens, Herringthorpe Valley Road.

The uphill closure of Clarkson Street by Northern Powergrid is creating traffic congestion in the Glossop Road area.

No diversions are planned though services are delayed.

Works suggested to be complete by 24th February.
