TV’s Anneka Rice has joined forces with First Bus to encourage people in Chelmsford in their 60s and beyond to dust off their bus passes and re-discover the joy of concessionary bus travel this summer.

The partnership follows new research from First Bus, which reveals that 71% of Chelmsford respondents say having a bus pass improved their quality of life.

Highlighting the benefits of concessionary bus travel, nearly three-quarters (72%) see their bus pass as their ticket to freedom, while 67% say they get out more now that they have their bus pass.

The partnership follows new research from First Bus, which reveals that while 80% of Norwich respondents thought getting their bus pass would make them feel old, they actually love using it.

Highlighting the benefits of concessionary bus travel, over three-quarters (77%) of those surveyed in Norwich say having a bus pass has improved their quality of life.
