Sometimes, the things we lose can do a lot of good.
Our teams in Huddersfield and Halifax have partnered with Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice to turn unclaimed lost property into vital funding for local children and families.
Every month, around 100 items are left behind on our buses, from hats and umbrellas to gadgets and sports gear. After 28 days, anything not collected will now be donated to Forget Me Not, to be sold in one of their 15 charity shops across West Yorkshire.

We recently partnered with Fortus Foundation, a community-focused charity supporting people across York and the wider region with education, employment, and equality opportunities.
Through this partnership, we’re helping the Foundation grow its funding and reach more people who need support to get back into work, with a little help from our buses.
It’s been a year since our York depot became one of the first in the country to reach net zero emissions, and the difference it’s making to the city is now clearer than ever.
Recent figures from the City of York Council show that our fully electric bus fleet has helped deliver a 27% reduction in nitrogen dioxide levels around Gillygate and Bootham, two of the city’s busiest junctions. Every day, our York city services and Rawcliffe Bar Park & Ride buses help keep people moving, and now they’re doing it while helping to clean the air too.
