Due to Cadent gas main upgrade works taking place along Ipswich Road, there will be a one-way closure between Daniels Road & Newmarket Road from Sunday 27th July to Monday 1st September affecting services 36/36A & 37.

Services will operate via Daniels Road & Newmarket Road, serving all stops along the diversion route - we are also expecting some delays to these services especially around peak times due to added congestion caused by this closure.

Manners Way, Southend-on-Sea is closed for roadworks until Friday 18th July 2025.

Due to the location of the road closure - the X30 journeys that travel via Southend Airport Holiday Inn will be placed on diversion ONLY:

Towards Southend-on-Sea: Normal line of route - all bus stops served.

Due to a new sewer connection being installed on Holt Road (near to the old Brickmakers), services 36/36A/36B will all be on diversion in Horsford from Wednesday 23rd July to Tuesday 12th August.

During this time, services will terminate at Mill Lane in the new estate (any passengers for stops in the new estate should alight here, as there will be a long wait before the bus starts moving again).

Due to roadworks for sink hole repairs, services 2/3/3B will not be able to serve St Peters Road or Blackfriars Road.

Services will divert all the way along King Street, South Quay and Queens Road back on to normal route. This is for three days.
