As the academic year winds down, our University of York services will move to non-term timetables to reflect reduced demand over the summer period. Here’s what’s changing between 8th June and 7th September 2025:
Due to a vehicle fire on King Lane, service 38 will divert via Ring Road and Tongue Lane, omitting Cranmer Bank - this is towards Leeds only.
Update - services returned to normal route 13:50.
Service 25A
13.20 from Castle Way to Cotford Aveline Court is cancelled due to operational issues, experienced at the Railway Station.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Due to the closure of the B3273, buses are currently unable to serve Mevagissey or Heligan Gardens.
Freedom of Helston will be taking place on Wednesday the 18th of June between the hours of 09:00 and 13:00.
This will affect the U4 and L1 services.
Buses will be diverting as follows:
U4 Towards Penzance
Updated 13:38 - 47 service has now reverted to normal route.

The 363 at 09.35 to Worcester did not run due to operational issues.

Due to surface dressing taking place, the A1064 will be closed without any access for our bus services on Thursday 22nd & Friday 23rd May between 09:00 & 16:00 only.
Service 7 will operate via the A149 through Rollesby & B1152 through Clippesby to join normal route - meaning that our buses won't be able to serve Filby or Fleggburgh on these dates & times.
We apologise for the inevitable disruption these works will cause to your journey, however these works are out of our control.
Due to Joyland Car Show taking place, Marine Parade will be closed south of Britannia Pier on Sunday 18th May.
Service 1C will operate as far as Britannia Pier, where services will restart from the stop facing north towards Seashore & Hemsby.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Due to surface dressing work, Gorleston High Street will be closed on Sunday 18th May between 06:00 & 11:00, and Wednesday 28th May betwenn 19:00 & 05:00.
During this time, all services will divert from their normal routes to serve Church Road & Beccles Road as an alternative route.
All stops on the High Street/High Road will not be served - drivers have been instructed to allow passengers to board along Church Road as an alternative.
