Change of stop at Temple Meads Station - service 72

From Sunday 15th October 2023, service 72 (Temple Meads - UWE Frenchay) will use stop T6 at Temple Meads Station, rather than stop T5. This is to allow double decker buses to be used on the service, to increase capacity following customer demand.

Stop T6 is the lower stop on the approach ramp, currently used by services 74 and A1.

Stop T5 is the higher stop under the low canopy. Service 8 will continue to use this stop.

Due to Chard carnival taking place on Saturday the 14th of October, service 30, 17:10 from Taunton and 18:40 from Axminster will be following a diversion.

From the end of Henson Park, buses will turn left at the end of the road and then follow on to Cricket St Thomas. They will then turn right and follow the road to Perry Station where they will pick up their normal line of rout.

The same diversion will apply on the return trip.

Due to an extension on works on Monday the 16th of October, there will be a closure along Broad Street Penryn between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00.

The junction of the Street (star pub) - Batts Road is closed due to burst watermain.

From 1 November, some single bus fare changes will take place across South Yorkshire.

Child single fares for holders of Zoom under 16 and Zoom 16-18 Travel passes will increase from 80p to £1.

The 80p single fare for holders of the Zoom Beyond 18-21 pass will rise to £1.50

A student single ticket will also cost £1.50 by showing a valid student ID in South Yorkshire.

The £2 adult single fare cap on buses will remain until 31 December 2024.

From 29 October, there will be changes to our evening and Sunday services, as some will be running on a different frequency.
