Rowhedge Road, Rowhedge will be closed for roadworks from Monday 2nd December to Friday 13th December 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure the S9 service will be placed on diversion:

Towards Rowhedge

The S9 service will divert via Fingringhoe Road and Rectory Road. The bus journey will terminate at the turning circle. Passengers will be able to disembark and board the service at the turning circle.

Towards Colchester

The S9 service is to commence journeys at the turning circle on Rectory Road. The S9 service will divert via Fingringhoe Road before returning to normal line of route on Old Heath Road.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Cleavelands
Battleswick Farm
Shipyard Corner
Taylor's Road
Heath Road Turn
Rowhedge

Remembrance Day Services and Remembrance Day Parades will take place, across Essex, on Sunday 9th November 2025.

Our drivers may also pull over to honour the two-minute silence at 11:00hrs on Remembrance Sunday (9th November 2025) and Armistice Day (Monday 10th November 2025) where it is safe for them to do so.

21	Leigh-on-Sea	Broadway West	08:00-12:00 Service 21 will divert in both directions via London Road.
21	South Benfleet	High Street	10:00-12:00 Service 21 will divert in both directions via Canvey Way.

42A	Great Dunmow	High Street	10:00-12:00 The 42A service will divert in both directions via the B1256.
75	Tiptree	Church Road	14:00-15:00 Colchester 13:25 to 14:29 Maldon: This journey will divert via the B1022. The following bus stops will not be served: Underwoods Garage, Duck Pond, The Centre, Station Road, Anchor Road and The New Times. *For/From Tiptree* - Customers are advised to use bus stops on B1022: Windmill View, Maldon Road/Perry Road and Brook Meadows.
80A/80C	Brentwood	High Street	10:15-11:45 The 80A & 80C services will be placed on diversion All stops between (and including) Brentwood Railway Station and adj Hutton Road will not be served in both directions.
