Union Street (top part),Bristol will be closed between 08:00-17:00 on Tuesday 26th May 2026.

Service 1,2,2a and 72 towards Park Street will operate normal route to Wine Street then instead of turning left to Union Street will continue ahead onto Newgate, Broad Weir, Lower Castle Street to Old Market Roundabout, turn onto Bond Street all the way to Haymarket to resume normal routes from Rupert Street.

Service 1, 2, 2a and 72 towards Temple Meads will run normal routes.

Service 3, 4, 8 from St Augustine’s Parade instead of turning onto Baldwin Street will continue along and take the next turning on the right onto Christmas Street, left onto Nelson Street to its end and follow it to Union Street (part unaffected). Service 3 & 4 will terminate on the Union Street bus stop B12, Service 8 will resume normal route.

All stops on the diversion routes will be served
