Update-Due to bad weather the dates have now changed to Tuesday 20th May to Wednesday 27th May between 2100-0500

Anchor Road & College Green will be closed overnight (21:00-05:30) from 20th May until 27th May(excluding weekends)

This will affect Bristol N/S services U2 X1, X1a, X4, X6, X6a, X9, X14.

Thursday 21st May Anchor Road and College Green will be closed in both directions.

After exiting Bus Station services will divert Marlborough Street past the BRI to Park Street top, then continue down Jacobs Wells Road to Hotwells Road. Services towards Bristol will from Hotwells Road use Jacobs Wells Road, Clifton Triangle to St James Barton Roundabout into Bristol Bus Station.

Stops at City Centre, Anchor Road & Gasworks Lane will be missed.

Tuesday 20th until Thursday 21st May Anchor Road Outbound will be open

Services leaving Bristol will operate normal Route. Services towards Bristol will operate Via Jacobs Wells Road, Clifton Triangle To St James Roundabout into Bristol Bus Station.

Pulteney Bridge,Bath - Road Closure - D1,U1 and U1N - starting 01.06.26

Pulteney Bridge,Bath will be closed between 19:00-06:00 from Monday 1st June to Saturday 13th June. This will affect services D1,U1 and U1N.

Service D1 heading towards Warminster will follow normal route to Pulteney Gardens, where it will turn into North Parade. It will then serve stops on "Bog Island" and return back down North Parade to continue along Pulteney Road(south) and re-join normal route.

Service D1 heading to Bath will go past Great Pulteney Street and along to North Parade where it will serve "Bog Island" and return back down North Parade and re-join normal route.

The following bus stops will not be served:- Holbourne Museum, Laura Place, Guldhall,Grand Parade and Manvers Street.

Please use the stops at Bog Island or North Parade.

Service U1/U1N heading towards Bath University will follow normal route to Widcombe then turn left into North Parade and serve “Bog Island”. It will then come back along North Parade and turn left resuming normal route route at the roundabout.

Service U1/U1N towards Central Bath will follow the reverse of the above.

The Following Stops will not be served:- Edward Street, Laura Place,Grand Parade,Bath Abbey.

Please use stops at Bog Island or North Parade.

Manvers Street / Bridge Street, Bath - Road Closures - Various services - starting 26.05.26

Manvers Street and Bridge Street in Bath city centre will be closed from Tuesday 26th May for three weeks. After this, Bridge Street will re-open, but Manvers Street will remain closed until November 2026 for major works to rebuild the road above historic vaults. Services 2, 3, 4, 6/6a/7, 13, 20, D1/D1x, U1, U1N and U3 will be affected.

Due to the long term nature of this closure, we are treating it as a service change rather than ad-hoc diversions. Timetables, app tracking and online Journey Planning data will be updated to reflect the changes.

Revised timetables are now available - please check the Forthcoming tab on the timetables section of the website. The timetables are headed as starting from 31st May, but will apply from 26th May (this is due to the mid-week start of the roadworks - apologies for any confusion).

Allison Road, Broomhill will be closed between 0930-1930 on Monday 1 June. Buses will divert via School Road, Bath Road and Wick Road and be unable to serve the Sherwell Road and Wick Crescent bus stops. Please use the stops at Gurnsey Avenue/Broomhill Road or Winchester Road instead.

1	Weston-super-Mare - Sand Bay	Normal service.	Beach Road, Sand Bay at Weston-super-Mare will be closed from Wednesday 3rd June to Friday 5th June 2026, from 08.00 until 17.00 each day. Buses will be unable to serve Sand Bay at all during the closure. Kewstoke will be the nearest buses are able to get to Sand Bay. We will not be able to serve stops between and including Lower Norton Lane and Sand Bay, Sand Road terminus. Please use the stops at Crookes Lane or the stop on Lower Norton Lane.
1s	Kewstoke - Worle	Normal service.	Beach Road, Sand Bay at Weston-super-Mare will be closed from Wednesday 3rd June to Friday 5th June 2026, from 08.00 until 17.00 each day. The X14 will additionally serve the Serbert Way stop and the stop in Sainsbury's car park after The Vale, then divert via Wyndham Way to the High Street, missing out stops from Galingale Way to Parish Wharf inclusive. Please use the stops at Sainsbury's or The Precinct instead.

X39/39	Bath - Bristol	Significant delays being experienced due to Road works in Saltford. Please allow extra time for journey where possible. We anticipate delays will occur daily 09:00 until 19:00 for duration of works.X39 Service is Running at up to 55mins to an hour late this is due to Road works and Temp Traffic lights by Pixash Lane both directions. Due to the roadworks and placement of the temporary traffic light we will NOT be serving Pixash Lane bus stop.
Y1/Y2	Bristol - Yate / Ladden Garden Village	The change to the Y2 to run via Coalpit Heath has been postponed until 21 June, and buses will carry on running via Winterbourne the same as the Y1. Please bear with us while we update online tracking and journey planning data to reflect this change.
Y6	Bristol - Southmead Hospital - Yate & Chipping Sodbury	-Due to Chipping Sodbury MOP Fair between 0900-1900. Service Y6 heading towards Chipping Sodbury will operate normal route as far as Yate Bus Station then turn Left out of the Bus Station then third exit on the roundabout onto Link Road, left into Kennedy Way, at roundabout into St Johns Way to its end and terminate and commence your journey at the Caroline Close bus stop. Service Y6 heading towards Bus Station will use the roundabout at the end of the road to turn around and go back up St Johns Way then the reverse of the above. Stops missed are The Ridge, Bowling Hill, The Clock and The Boot. -Long Term Closure - Beesmoor Road, Coalpit Heath closed until Sunday 21 June (estimated). Unable to serve all stops between the Live and Let Live and Heathcote Drive inclusive, and also miss out the Church Road stop towards Bristol. Buses will divert via the full length of Church Road instead, and serve all bus stops on diversion.
