Nightingale Road stop in QA Hospital towards Portsmouth will be closed from 8pm on the 5th April and open again at 6am on the 15th April. Nearest alternative stop will be either Southwick Hill Road or the QA Main entrance stop. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. These works are out of our control and may change at short notice.

Routes: 28 and F1.
1400 Tuesday 2nd until 1700 Monday 8th April.

Due to road works, the above stop will be closed between the dates shown.
Passengers are advised to use the temporary stops provided by the works contractors.

Last week, First Essex employees delivered Easter eggs to Broomfield Hospital to bring joy to children staying in the hospital over Easter. The Easter eggs added a touch of sweetness to the hospital environment, creating a festive vibe for everyone involved.

Due to roadworks there will be diversions on the following weekends:

20:00 Friday 19 April until 06:00 Sunday 21 April
20:00 Friday 26 April until 06:00 Monday 29 April

Service 1 (from Acomb)

Diversion route:
Normal route to Blossom Street then Nunnery Lane, Skeldergate, Micklegate, Rougier Street continuing normal route from Station Ave.

Stops not served:
York Railway Station.

Additional stops:
Rougier Street.

Service 1 (from Haxby)

Abbots Drive, Stanford-le-Hope will be closed daily (between 08:00 - 17:00 only) from Tuesday 2nd April to Wednesday 3rd April 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 200 service will divert (in both directions) via The Sorrells and The Manorway (A1014).

The following bus stops will not be served:

• Stratford Gardens
• Nursery Road
• Abbotts Drive

Between the 5th & 11th April both bus stops at Ann's Hill Cemetery will be closed for road works. Temporary stops will be in place nearer to Wilmott Lane. Please signal to your driver your intention to travel. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during these works. These works may change at short notice.
