Southernhay, Basildon will be closed from Monday 28th July until Sunday 30th November 2025.

Southernhay, Basildon - the section of road will be closed in both directions between Market Pavement to Clay Hill Road.

Due to the location of the road closure the following services will be placed on a minor diversion: B1 / B2 / B3 / B4 / B5 / 9 / 22 / 25 / 28 / 100 / 200 / 201 / X10 / South Essex School Routes

Due to operational issues, the following services are disrupted:

Service T1:

14:27 - Camborne to Truro (CANCELLED)

15:47 - Truro to Penzance (CANCELLED)

18:15 - Penzance to Camborne (CANCELLED)

Service U1:

14:17 - Falmouth to Truro (CANCELLED) (REINSTATED)

15:17 - Truro to Falmouth (CANCELLED) (REINSTATED)

Crantock Bale Push will be taking place on the 12th of September between the hours of 17:00 and 22:30.

This will affect the 87 service.

During this time, buses will not be able to access Halwyn Hill and bus shelter and will carrying on along Trevowah Road.

Fowey Regatta & Classic Car Show will be taking place from Monday the 18th of August to Thursday the 21st of August.

Due to Fowey Carnival, this will affect the 24 service on the 20th of august between 18:00 and 20:00.

Due to an emergency Longlands Road, Hill Top has been closed.

The St Agnes five Miler will be taking place on the 20th of August closing Vicarage Road between the hours of, 18:50 and 20:00.

This will affect the 18:30 service 87 towards Newquay.

During this time, buses will be diverting Via Goonbell.

Laurel Drive (just before Laurel Place) Emergency closure

Service 1 will divert as follows:

Heading to Danestone to divert from Farview Street left onto Farview Brae, Laurel Drive, Laurel Place, omitting usual loop, Laurel Drive, Farview Brae, Farview Street, Laurel Drive, to terminate at the Tesco.

Heading to town to divert by turning left onto Fairview Street and resuming normal service.

This is until further notice.

On Wednesday 30th July 2025 the Dunster Country Fair will be taking place at the Dunster Showground. The additional traffic congestion this event usually causes could result in disruption to both the 28 and EX1 service at any time during the day on Wednesday 30th July.

Due to early completion of works on Ilchester Road, Yeovil, Service 54 has resumed its normal route.

Please be advised that from the 28th July up to and including the 29th August, Service 54 will be subject to diversion on journeys heading to Yeovil.

During the above dates, Ilchester Road will be one way only due to footway resurfacing works.

This means a diversion for journeys heading to Yeovil only from Coronation Avenue via Stiby Road, Larkhill Road and Preston Road.
