We are introducing some improvements to our services across Somerset from Monday 30 January 2023. These include new evening buses on routes between Taunton & Wellington on route 22, Taunton & Minehead on route 28, Taunton & Bridgwater on route 21, Taunton & Chard on route 30, and on Taunton town’s route 1.
There’s never been a better time to ‘Bus It’ in Somerset, with new evening services, and fares capped at just £2 for a single journey in Somerset, and £1 for any single journey in the Taunton town zone.
First West of England has launched a brand new metrobus service, the m4, between Cribbs Causeway and Bristol. The fast and direct modern buses now link The Mall, Bristol Parkway Station and University of the West of England with the city centre.
Route 3 is unable to serve Hyde Hall bus stop (on Buckhatch Lane) until further notice due to un-gritted roads. Due to the cold weather - the road remains icy and is dangerous to navigate.
Normal service will resume when road is gritted or when warmer weather resumes.

EMERGENCY NOTICE Service X22
There is an Emergency Closure on Meadow Park, Willand which starts Thursday 19th January until Thursday 26th January. This is for works by South West Water and will affect service X22.
The X22 will be diverting as via Gables Road in both Directions.
The A34 between Yarlet Lane and Redhill roundabout is due to close on Saturday between the hours of 0700 & 1100 to facilitate a wide load travelling from Stafford towards Newcastle.
During the closure service 101 will need to divert as follows;

To allow for works on Sunday 22nd January until Friday 27th January between 07:30hrs and 17:00hrs each day, Archerhill Road will be closed.
