Latest News
The council has been working to clear all floodwater affecting the road network served by our buses.
As a result, all scheduled services will be operating their normal routes from the start of service on Monday 8 January.

Temporary Stop Closures.
Seamead, Stubbington Lane, route X5. In both directions.
02 January 2024 until the completion of the works.
Services 31-331-332
Maldon Road, Latchingdon will be closed to traffic from Tuesday 2nd January - Monday 8th January
During this closure the services 31-331-332 will be on diversion:
Towards Burnham-on-Crouch - From Mundon Road, right into Burnham Road, left Fambridge Road left Cold Norton Road and return to line of route into Latchingdon.
Towards Chelmsford - From Latchingdon ahead to roundabout and right into Fambridge Road, right into Burnham Road, left into Mundon Road and return to line of route.
From Monday 8 January, service 14A will operate a different route into the Glenfield Hospital on a trail basis for up to 3 months.
The route will be as follows;
Journeys from City Centre will operate as normal to New Parks Way, then at the roundabout buses will continue onto Glenfrith Way and turn left to enter the hospital via the service road and follow through to the main entrance bus stop.
Journeys from Beaumont Centre will operate as normal.
Frog Island area is due to close from Monday 8 January, for up to 3 months.
Whilst the works continue in Frog Island, all outbound journeys on services 14 and 14A will now operate out of St. Margaret’s Bus Station via St Margaret’s Way, Ravensbridge Drive, Blackbird Road and then back on normal route at Fosse Road North
