Temporary diversion of services: X4 and X5 Southampton City area.
Monday 26th until Thursday 29th June.
Due the closure of Platform Road, routes X4 and X5 towards Southampton will be diverted via Bernard Street.
Routes X4 and X5 towards Lowdford, Locks Heath and Fareham, will divert via:
Bernard Street, Threefield Lane, Marsh Lane and Terminus Terrace.
Badminton Road in Downend between Westbourne Road and Blackhorse Lane will be closed overnight to service 48 between 20:00 and 06:00 from Wednesday 28th June through to Friday 7th July (eight nights excluding weekend) to facilitate further resurfacing works.
Service 48 heading towards Emersons Green will operate normal route along Badminton Road as far as the junction of Four Acre Road then divert via Four Acre Road, Quaker Road, A4174 and Badminton Road (part unaffected) to resume normal route at Blackhorse Lane.

Diversion Route:
Bath Bus Station closed from 16.00 on Monday 26th June until the end of service.
Due to emergency water main repair works outside the entrance of the bus station, buses cannot use Bath Bus Station from 16.00 until the end of service on Monday 26th June. It is expected that buses will return to normal from first bus on Tuesday 27th June.
For alternative bus stop locations, please see the table below. Park & Ride services 21, 31 and 41 are unaffected.
Affordable Fares scheme in Stoke-on -Trent is set to continue for a further 6 months.
The affordable fares scheme that was introduced in July 2023 which heavily discounted the SMART bus tickets has been a huge success and will continue until 31 March 2025.
Due to the ongoing closure of A38 Barbourne Road, Worcester in both directions due to a significant water leak and carriageway defect, services 36/144/32S are all on diversion. This is now expected to be in place from now until at least end of service on Thursday 29 June.
National Armed Forces Parade on Saturday 24th June
Cornwall is very honoured to host the 2023-Armed Forces Day National Event – the stage for the national celebration of the UK’s Armed Forces.
The Military parade will be taking place on Saturday 24th between 10 o’clock and 12 noon the following services will be terminating and commence at Dracaena Crossroads U1A, U2, U1 during these times.
Monday 10th July - Bank Holiday Service Levels
On Monday 10th July, we will operate a Saturday service on all routes
(Services 1, 1B and 2 which will operate a normal Monday to Friday timetable)
From Sunday 16 July, we'll be making some minor amendments to the evening journeys on service 13.
The 1945 & 2045 journeys from St. Margaret's Bus Station will now leave 10 minutes later at 1955 & 2055.
