Due to utility service works, the above stop will be closed between the dates shown above.

Crown Street, Dedham will be closed for daily roadworks from Tuesday 9th July to Thursday 11th July 2024 (starting at 09:30hrs and ending at 14:30hrs each day).

Due to the location of the road closure, the 81/81A service will be placed on diversion:

The following journeys will divert via Ardleigh Road and Long Road West before terminating at Duck Lane, Dedham Heath bus stop. The bus will wait time and then resume journey back to Colchester City Centre*.

North Hill, Colchester will be closed for roadworks, on a nightly basis, from Tuesday 9th July to Saturday 13th July 2024 - from 20:00hrs each night to 06:00hrs the next morning.

Due to the location of the roadworks multiple Colchester services will be placed on diversion:

To divert, after serving Head Street bus stop, via High Street, Queen Street, Southway, Balkerne Hill and Middleborough before returning to normal line of route. The following bus stop will not be served: Middleborough.

Armed Forces Parade 29 June - City Centre 

Services 1&2 heading to RGU - 10:30– 12:30 approx
At King Street/West North Street, left into East North Street then via Commerce Street, Virginia Street, Guild Street, South College Street, Millburn Street, Ferryhill Road, Whinhill Road, Great Southern Road, Holburn Street and resume normal route.

Temporary Route Diversion: Route E1.
27th June until 5th July.

Due to roadworks in Grove Road, route E1 will divert via Albemarle Avenue, Melville Road and San Diago Road in both directions.

Passengers are advised to use the alternative stops at either: Ham Lane or
The Glencoe.

Marine Parade Great Yarmouth will be closed 0800hrs to 1700hrs Sunday 14th July 2024 to allow the NRSA Show n Shine event to take place. 

The A34 in Hanford will be closed outbound on Friday 5th July 20:00 – 06:00, weather permitting.

Buses will be diverting via Church Lane / Wilson Road and Bankhouse Road.

Please allow extra time for your journey on this date.

Church Lane in Hanford will be closed on Thursday 4th July 18:00 – 03:00 for 1 day.

Buses will divert via the A34, Bankhouse Road and Mayne Street.

There will be no service on Church Lane or Wilson Road in Hanford between these times.

Biddulph by the sea will be returning on Saturday 6th July.  Sainsburys on Wharf Road will not be served during the below times:
