Eckington Road has been closed between Hartland Ave and Owlthorpe Greenway, which means we cannot serve Sothall estate.

Services will use Owlthorpe Greenway in both directions until further notice.

ROUTE NOW CLEAR AFTER EARLIER INCIDENT

Due to an road traffic collision in Cradley Village the road is blocked. In addition to this, the services are also on diversion via Stony Cross due to roadworks. 

Service 674 will be diverted via A4103 and B4214 to Bosbury and will be severely delayed into bus stops between Finchers Corner and Bosbury.

We are unable to pass between Cradley, Buryfields and Finchers Corner. 

To allow for a dangerous tree removal on Sunday 13th April until 14:00 Gartcosh Walk will be closed.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 240 towards Bellshill via Old Edinburgh Road, A725 Bellshill Bypass, Hamilton Road, North Road at Gartcosh Walk and normal route.

Service 240 towards Viewpark via North Road, Hamilton, A725 North Bound, Old Edinburgh Road normal route.
 

To allow for deep cleaning works on Thursday 10th April 20:00 until Friday 11th April 06:00 Clydeside Expressway East Bound will be closed.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 1 1A 1C via Dumbarton Road, Victoria Park Drive, Dumbarton Road, Thornwood, Dumbarton Road, Sorley Street on slip to Expressway normal route.

Service X4 via Westland Drive, Dumbarton Road, Thornwood, Dumbarton Road, Sorley Street on slip to Expressway normal route

Domestic Street now clear, Services 65 & 86 are returning to normal route

Moorland Avenue, Gildersome is not serviceable due to road works. 

To Leeds, The Headrow via Gildersome Ln, remain on Gildersome Ln/Church St until resuming route.

To Gildersome services to terminate at the bus stop on Gildersome Ln (Just after the turning for Moorland Ave), then continue Gildersome Ln, Whitehall Rd, Gildersome Ln.
 

Little Wheatley Chase, Rayleigh is closed for daily roadworks from Tuesday 8th April to Monday 14th April 2025.

The road is to be closed from 08:00hrs each morning and is to re-open from 18:00hrs each evening.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 25 service will divert in both directions via London Road (A129).

The following bus stop(s) will not be served in both directions:

Westgate, Leeds - Tailbacks on the slip road between Wellington Street back to Westgate Point, The Headrow.

Current travelling time is averaging 20 minutes between these two points.

Halstead Road and Ford Street (Aldham) are closed for overnight roadworks from Monday 7th April to Saturday 12th April 2025.

The roads are to be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and are to re-open from 06:00hrs each morning.
