Bradford Interchange has now reopened to bus services following the completion of improvement works and site assessments.
Whether you’re commuting to work, catching up with friends, or planning a day out, the reopening of the Interchange will make travelling across the city smoother and faster.
Since their launch in March this year, the 62 zero emission buses - which replaced nearly half (43%) of First Solent’s diesel fleet - have reduced emissions dramatically, saving the equivalent of approximately 2,427 tonnes of WTW (Well to Wheel)** CO2e emissions.
Launched in partnership with Portsmouth City Council and Hampshire County Council, the state-of-the-art electric buses are a first for the region. The £28.6m project was funded from the Department for Transport’s (DfT) Zero Emission Bus Regional Areas (ZEBRA) scheme and investment from First Bus.
Due to a temporary road closure from 9:30-15:30, the following diversions are in place:
Outbound
Normal route until Lulworth Car Park. Bus will then divert via Church Road then back to the main road. Then via Wareham Road, Burton Cross Roundabout, A352 Dorchester Road until Wool Railway Station and continue the normal route.
Inbound
Service 382 is currently diverting via the viaduct in Slaithwaite, Bank Gate, underneath the viaduct & Longlands Road (in both directions)

In a boost to the Leicester network, First Bus have announced several enhancements across the city including their brand-new service 4E, which for the first time in over a decade will be providing Customers in Rushey Mead with an hourly evening service.
