Colchester Road, Chelmsford is closed for overnight roadworks on the following dates:

• Sunday 9th March 2025
• Sunday 16th March 2025

The road is to be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and is to re-open from 05:00hrs each morning.

Due to the location of the road closure the X71 service 19:55 departure (from Colchester Osborne Street) will divert via Chelmer Road.

The following bus stops will not be served:

Main Road (A414), Danbury is closed for overnight roadworks from Thursday 6th March to Tuesday 11th March 2025.

The road is to be closed from 21:00hrs each evening and is to re-open from 05:00hrs each morning.

The 31 and 336 services will be permitted through the road closure. Accessible bus stops will be served.

There will be slight delays to service, as the bus will require an escort through controlled works area.

High Street, Burnham-on-Crouch is closed for overnight roadworks from 21:00hrs on Monday 10th March to 05:00hrs on Tuesday 11th March 2025.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 31 service will terminate/recommence journeys at Burnham-on-Crouch Railway Station - diverting via Station Approach and Foundry Lane before returning to normal line of route.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

High Street, Burnham-on-Crouch is closed for roadworks, on a daily basis, from Wednesday 5th March to Friday 7th March 2025.

The road is to be closed from 07:00hrs each morning and is to re-open from 19:00hrs each evening.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 31 and 331 services will terminate/recommence journeys at Burnham-on-Crouch Railway Station - diverting via Station Approach and Foundry Lane before returning to normal line of route.

Great Leighs Bypass Roundabout South, Chelmsford is closed for overnight roadworks from Monday 24th March to Thursday 27th March 2025.

The road is to be closed from 21:00hrs each evening and is to re-open from 05:00hrs each morning.

Due to the location of the road closure the 170 and 370 services will be placed on diversion:

The 170 and 370 services will divert via Great Leighs Bypass before returning to normal line of route on London Road.

Services cannot serve Fox & Hounds during this time/date due to the diversion into Truro.  

To Truro the services are diverting via Scorrier Roundabout, Dales, A30 towards Truro, Chiverton Cross, A390, Penstraze, Chacewater Hill.

To Camborne the services are diverting via Chacewater Hill, Chacewater Garden Centre, Perranporth/St Agnes, Chiverton Cross, towards Redruth, Scorrier (Dales), A3047.

Ireland Bridge has been reported as closed in Bingley, Bradford.

Service 616 will have to divert via Cottingley (615 route).
