To allow for resurfacing works, Annsfield Road will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 226 & N267, towards Meikle Earnock Road:
Normal route to Low Waters Road at roundabout, turning via Mill Road, Millgate Road, Neilsland Square and Neilsland Road to resume normal route. 

Ambulance currently blocking Perth Crescent, Mountblow

Service 1D to carry on up Mountblow Road to Terminus.

Updated - this road is now open and services have returned to normal route.

Hope Street has been blocked by a broken down bus since 13:35.

Services 6, 6A, 7, 7A, 60, 60A, 61, 75 diverting via: West George Street, West Nile Street, Bath Street, Hope Street and onto normal route.

Services 9, 9A, x8 diverting via West George Street, West Nile Street, Killermont Street and onto normal route.

Due to works on Copnor Road between Amberley Road and Merrivale Road service will be diverting as below:

Brownberrie Lane will be closed: Monday 13th January 19.00 - 06.00

Service 27 will operate via Church Road, Fink Hill, Ring Road, A65 and Harrogate Road in both directions.

Commencing Monday 13th January:

Service 34 will no longer serve Menston Railway Station Car Park as Network Rail are working on site.

Services will continue to use Station Road and Cleasby Road.

From Monday 6th January 2025, the majority of stops at Market Gates will be suspended while work to convert the bus station to 2-way operation takes place. This work is expected to be completed by the May but works may take longer than planned.

There will be lane closures through Market Gates applying to all traffic, which will happen in phases.

A section of Hawthorn Avenue, Colchester is closed for roadworks from Monday 30th December to Tuesday 31st December 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure the S5 and 1A services will be placed on diversion:

Towards Greenstead Library:

Service S5 will divert after serving Bromley Road bus stop via Bromley Road, Longridge, Avon Way and Hawthorn Avenue. Bus stops - Affleck Road and Berberis Walk will be served before journeys terminate at Greenstead Library bus stop.
