The A120, between Bishops Stortford and Braintree will be closed for works, on a nightly basis, from Monday 24th June to Sunday 30th 2024 - from 20:00hrs each night to 06:00hrs the next morning.

Due to the location of the roadworks the X30 service will divert, in both directions, via Stortford Road/Dunmow Road (B1256) and Parsonage Road.

All bus stops will be served as normal.

Please take this diversion into consideration when planning your journey as slight delays may occur due to length of diversion.

Temporary Stop Closure.
Lowford Hill, Hamble Lane, Bursledon. Routes X4 and X5.

1600 Monday 24th until 2300 Tuesday 25th June.

Due to utilities works, this stop will be closed on the dates and times shown above.
Passengers are advised to use the temporary stop provided by the works contractor.

Queen Elizabeth Way, Colchester will be closed for roadworks on a daily basis from Wednesday 26th June 2024 to Monday 1st July 2024 (from 09:00hrs to 17:30hrs each day).

Due to the location of the road closure, the S8 and 174/175 services will be placed on diversion:

S8

The S8 service will divert, in both directions, via Mersea Road and Stansted Road. The following bus stops will not be served: 

From Monday 1 July 2024, First Solent service 28/28A will no longer operate between Whiteley and Botley, with the service now terminating at North Whiteley, Skipper Way. There is no change to the route between Fareham and Whiteley. A new timetable will be introduced on the same day.

The next phase of the Station roadworks will begin 13th August until 30th September. Station road will open one way heading outbound for services.

Outbound 25 will continue using Litchfield Street & Leek Road A52, with a temporary bus stop in place opposite the Royal Mail sorting office. From here, service will turn onto Manor Link Road. 

Various stops closures are taking place in Portsmouth, the list is below:-
Lake Road / Fratton Road  Southbound 26 June 0930 to 1530.
Lake Road / Fratton Road  Northbound 26 June 0930 to 1530.
Cosham Health Centre towards Portsmouth (2 stop) 26 June 0930 to 1530.
Mayfield Road towards Portsmouth (3 &7 stop) 27 June 0930 to 1530.
Hilsea Crescent Towards Cosham (8 stop) 27 June 0930 to 1530.
Please use an alternative stop during these works.

On Saturday 6th July there will be a  Pride Event in the South Parade Pier area. The road will be closed between 11:30 and 12:30. Service 1 and 3 will divert away from this area via Granada Road in both directions. The stops not being served will be Clarendon Road and South Parade Pier. Please use alternative stops at Canoe Lake or the Strand. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. This event is out of our control and the timing may change at short notice.

Due to highway maintenance work, a section of Strensall Road between Huntington Road and Strensall Road will be closed from Monday 29th July to Friday 14th August between 9:00-16:00.

Diversion route:

During these works, services 5 and 5A will be diverted via Link Road, Haxby Road, A1237 in both directions, serving all stops along the diverted route.

From the 21st of July, we’ll be introducing some minor timetables changes to improve reliability, as well as introducing a new route serving the Saxonfields area!
