Anglian Water works will be taking place on Gertrude Road from Tuesday 11th February to Thursday 13th February, meaning the road will once again be closed.

During this time, services will operate the full length of Mousehole Avenue, then make the left onto Silver Road to join normal route.

We apologise for any disruption this may cause to your journey. 

Due to Openreach works taking place on Nar Ouse Way from 19:00 to 06:00 each night from Monday 10th February to Friday 14th Februrary, Excel services will be unable to serve the stops at Sandpiper Way on Nar Ouse Way.

Services will be diverting via South Lynn/Wisbech Road.

Due to gas works taking place on Old Watton Road/Tollgate Way (near to the Spire Hospital), services 21/21A & 26A will be curtailed on Saturday 8th February & Sunday 9th February. Unfortunately, due to the location of the road closure, we have no diversion routes to use to maintain the service.

All 21/21A services will show "Bowthorpe" on their destination display and will terminate & restart their next trips at the last stop on Three Score Road. They will not be able to serve the N&N Hospital during this time.

Due to a road closure on Southampton Road, J & J Junction M275 from 26th January to 16th March, the X4 evening service (9:00 PM - 5:00 AM) will be diverted.

The service will reroute via Allaway Avenue, Southampton Rd, and A3 (Both Directions) after Porchester Precinct and will not serve the following stops:

Due to an ongoing road closure at Catherine Street from the 16th of February to the 17th of February, services are diverted in both directions as follows:

Outbound: Normal route to Taylor Road then Dysart Way, Belgrave Road, Marfitt Street, Gypsy Lane / Barkby Road back to the normal route. 

Inbound: Normal route to Barkby Road then Gypsy Lane, Melton Road, Dysart Way, Taylor Road back to the normal route.

Here are some exciting things coming up...

To facilitate renewal of a telephone pole, Post Office Road in Lingwood will be closed on Tuesday 4th February between 09:30 & 15:30.

During this time, services heading towards Lingwood will be able to operate their normal route to the terminus at Hilary Close. From here, buses will perform a loop of Station Road/School Road/Post Office Road before then retracing the route down Station Road onto normal route at Norwich Road.

Due to roadworks at Lothian Road roundabout, services are diverted.

23/01 – 29/01

Due to Cadent gas main replacement works taking place on Taverham Road, our Yellow Line 29 services will need to take a diversion route from Monday 3rd February to Tuesday 11th March. 

Services will omit the left turn onto Taverham Road - instead operating via Sandy Lane & Taverham Road to join the normal line of route at Penn Road/Victoria Road.

The closure does continue past the 11th March, however this phase will not affect our bus services.
