As you may know, the UK Government has announced a new £3 fare cap in England – which means some of our fares will be changing from 1st January 2025.
We’re also simplifying the way we charge our customers to make it fairer for everyone. You’ll now only be charged for the distance you’ve travelled.
But don’t worry – you won’t have to figure this out for yourself:
Due to road works on Saturday 14th December and Sunday 15th December the M80 J1 towards M8 West Bound will be closed between 22:00 and 06:00 each night.
During the closure, the following diversions will be in operation:
Diverting via M80 J1, Provan Road, Cumbernauld Road, Alexandra Parade, Castle Street, Cathedral Street, normal route.
Due to York Street being closed, from Wed 11th and Thurs 12th December 19.00 – 05.30, the services are diverting.
Due to the bridge being closed in Brighouse, the service is now diverting.
The service is diverting via Huddersfield, Jumble Dyke, Ogden Lane, Rastric Common, Gooder Lane, and Brighouse.
In both directions.
Dewsbury Road is closed, Thursday 12th December 03.30 – 06.30.
Towards Beeston
Dewsbury Road is closed outbound, Thursday 12th December 03.30 – 06.30.
Towards Midd / White Rose
Due to the Christmas Cracker event, the services are diverting between 07:00 - 18:00 only.
Outbound
Buses are diverting via Maumbury Road, B3144, Railway Bridge, Williams Avenue, and Bridport Road.
