Due to roadworks on Thursday 6th March 20:00 until Friday 7th March 06:00, the M80 J1 towards M8 West Bound will be closed.
During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:
Express Services: normal route M80 J1 take off slip then left Provan Road, right Cumbernauld Road, continuing Alexandra Parade, left Castle Street, right Cathedral Street normal route.

Towards Seacroft; From King St, Continue East Parade, Calverley St, right Portland Way, right Woodhouse Ln, left Merrion St, left North St, right Vicar Ln, left Eastgate, right (Third Exit) St Peters St, through the far-left arch, left Marsh Ln to Woodpecker Jct. using ‘Victoria D’ (Bottom stop at Eastgate) as alternative.
Temporary traffic lights have been installed on Tenpenny Hill, Thorrington - the traffic lights are expected to be in operation between 09:00hrs and 17:00hrs each day on Wednesday 5th March and Thursday 6th March 2025.
Unfortunately, the time delay between the light changes has had a significant impact on traffic levels in and around Thorrington and Brightlingsea.
The 87 service is experiencing delays of up to 50 minutes.

Due to road closures for St Piran's Day celebrations in Truro City Centre, U1 and U1a services operating into Truro from Falmouth will divert from Lemon Street via Tabenacle Street to Truro Bus station. During this diversion, buses will be unable to serve the stop outside Truro Conservative Club.
This diversion does not affect buses operating towards Falmouth.
