CLOSURE AT MARKS TEY SLIP ROAD AT JUNCTION 25 TO 26 FROM 27th JAN TO 6TH FEB 2023 

Please expect delays and late notice curtailment to our services: 

82A Colchester to Colne Engaine will divert via Marks Tey Railway Station, Copford B1408 London Road and then onto normal line of route after Tollgate Sainsburys, 

370 Colchester to Chelmsford

From Sunday 19th February 2023 - the 16 service will no longer operate, this includes the bus route via St Luke's Estate.

The X10 will instead divert to serve the estate. All current bus stops, within the estate, will remain as pick-up/drop-off points.

The existing 16 service fare structure will remain in place until the 31st March (when the £2 single fare cap government scheme ends). Where fares are less than £2 - they will be honoured.

At peak times (AM and PM) - there will be a half an hour hourly service between St Luke's Estate and Wickford, Railway Station.

From Tuesday the 07th of February until Friday the 10th of February, King William Road, Catcott will be closed for Wessex Water Works.

This will affect service 75.

Buses will be diverting via Lippetts Way and Broadway in both Directions.

From Thursday the 09th of February to Saturday the 11th of February, 20:00 to 06:00, Newell & Kitt Hill, Sherborne will be closed for Highways Works.

This will affect services 58 and X10.

These services will be diverting as follows:

Crouch Street will be closed, due to roadworks taking place, 30th - 31st January (between the hours of 19:00 - 05:00).

The following services will divert from St. Johns Street via Head Street, Middleborough and Balkerne Hill:

All other services, travelling from Osborne Street, will use Southway.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Please note that Skeldergate will be closed from 8:00am on Monday 23rd January until Friday 10th February at 17:00pm (to be confirmed) due to gas mains works. 

Services 3 & 4 will divert via Nunnery Lane, Prices Lane and Skeldergate Bridge on inbound journeys, and will not serve the Railway Station on outbound journeys. 

Please allow more travel time if journeying to the station during these works.

From Sunday 19th February 2023, further revisions will be made to a small number of our services. This will include changes to some routes and services retimed to better reflect customer demand and improve the reliability and punctuality of services across Essex.

Due to the closure of Locks Road,
route X4 will divert via:
Church Road Hunts Pond Road and Bridge Road.

Passengers are advised to use alternative stops.
Nearest alternative stops are located at either:
Locks Heath Centre or Park Gate.
This diversion is for services in both directions.

Service 88/88A

Conies Road will be closed to traffic from the 23rd - 27th January 2023

Diversion Conies Road - continue along White Horse Lane missing Conies Road, a temporary bus stop should be locates at usual termination point.

Diversion towards Colchester - Turn left into Tidings Hill, left into Ronald Road, right into White Horse Avenue and return to line of route.
