Sheilhill Avenue will be closed from 04:00 on 27 March until 23:30 on 01 April and again from 04:00 on 03
April until 23:30 on 08 April
Service 1B/32 heading to Dubford
From the end of Dubford Road:
• the service will turn at the old terminus just before the bus gate and wait there.
Ensignbus Open top bus Route 68 (Southend Pier to Leigh on Sea) seaside service will return on Saturday 1st April 2023.
First Essex Buses have introduced a NEW Southend + Route 68 Day ticket that offers unlimited same day bus travel on our X30 service and all First Essex Bus services within the Southend Metro Zone and travel on Ensignbus open top bus route 68.
NEW Day Ticket Prices:
The prices of the Southend Octopus multi-operator range of day, week and 4-week tickets are revised from Saturday 1st April 2023.
The Octopus ticket provides unlimited travel on First, Arriva and Stephensons of Essex buses in the Southend, Castle Point and Rochford district areas, and can be bought on the bus from any of the participating operators.
The prices of the Colchester Boroughcard Inner and Outer zone multi-operator range of day, week and 4-week tickets are revised from Saturday 1st April 2023.
Heathery Road
To allow for water works on Wednesday 29th March Heathery Road at the rail bridge will close.
During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:
Balnagask Circle will be closed from 08:00 on 03 April until 18:00 on 15 April
Service 15 heading to Balnagask
From the end of Girdleness Road:
• right onto Balnagask Road (bus will not turn into Balnagask Circle)
• continue ahead to the end of Balnagask Road
• left onto St Fittcks Road
• continue along onto Victoria Road
• left onto Abbey Place
• left onto Balnagask Road
• right onto Girdleness Road
• resume normal route
NHS Staff Bus Travel
In partnership with York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, we are offering a discounted £1.50 Single bus ticket for employees of the Trust and the Facilities Management LLP. This offer is valid for journeys to and from work on all timetabled services, including Park and Ride.
To use the discounted offer, simply show a valid Trust ID badge when boarding the bus.
From Monday the 27th of March to Thursday the 30th of March, between the hours of 07:30 and 17:00, St Blazey Road Par will be closed for resurfacing works.
This will affect service 24.
