Overnight works will be taking place at Dunmow Interchange from Monday 18th September 2023 until Saturday 23rd September 2023.

Highways have granted access to buses only through the works. 

However, please note. there may be slight delays to service as the bus will be required to wait for an operative to escort them through the closure.

On Sunday the 24th of September the Falmouth Triathlon will be taking place along Cliff Road between the hours of 05:00 and 22:00.

This will affect the Falmouth Coaster.

Buses will be diverting as follows:

Temporary diversion of service 3. Portchester Railway Station.
Hill Road, Portchester.
Thursday 28th until Saturday 30th September.
From 1900 – 0600 each night.

Service S3

B1508 is closed near the Treble Tile in West Bergholt from Friday 22nd September until Sunday 24th September 2023.

Towards Bergholt:

Towards Colchester:

Depart the terminus as normal.

Service X20

The A120 Slip Road between Dunmow and Braintree (towards Stansted) is closed from Monday 18th September until Saturday 23rd September between the hours of 2100-0500.

Towards Stansted:

After the Holiday Inn, buses will divert via Pods Brook Road, Rayne Road, B1256, LEFT at the roundabout (towards A120), onto the B1008 (Travelodge Junction), returning to line of route.

The bus stop called Chantry Road on Brockhurst Road southbound will be closed for three days between Monday 18 to Wednesday 20 September 2023 between 0930 and 1530. There will be a temporary bus stop nearby. Please signal clearly to your driver. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Ramsey Road Closure - Overnight

5th - 23rd September 2023, 20:00 - 06:00

Diversion Route: 

Towards Harwich: The bus will not turn into Mayes Lane, and will instead continue past and stay on Oakley Road. The bus will then turn right onto Main Road, back on the line of route.

Railway Street in Braintree is closed from Monday 18th September to Thursday 21st September until 1800hrs.

Towards Braintree Bus Station:

Hamlet Road Closure

14th - 20th September 2023

Diversion Route: 

From Magnolia Drive, the bus will continue straight at the mini roundabout and then right at the end of the road onto Avon Way. 

Stops Not Served: Stops on Hamlet Road will not be served.
