The Colchester Stampede 10K takes place on Sunday 28th April 2024 (between 08:30 and 11:00am). The event will start within Colchester Zoo and head out onto surrounding local roads - these roads will be temporarily closed to traffic whilst the event takes place.
Please note. road closures may re-open earlier depending on how quickly the runners complete sections of the race.
Colne Causeway (A134), Colchester will be closed to traffic overnight; from Friday 19th April to Saturday 20th April 2024 (between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00).
For the duration of the road closure, the S1 service will divert (in both directions) via Haven Road, Hythe Quay, Hythe Station Road and Hawkins Road.
All bus stops are to be served as normal.

Station Road, Bures will be closed for roadworks on Monday 15th April 2024 (between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00).
For the duration of the road closure, the 83 service will divert, in both directions, via Moat Road/Plummers Road/Wormingford Road/Fordham Road and B1508.
The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions):
Beach Road in Weston-super-Mare between Quantock Road and the Grand Atlantic Hotel will be closed to services 20, 126 & X1 between 08:00 and 17:00 from Monday 15th through to Friday 19th April (five days) to facilitate carriageway works.

Services 20 and 126 will be diverted via Quantock Road and Walliscote Road where service 20 will resume normal route and service 126 will continue to divert to resume normal route at the Marine Parade bus stop in both directions.
Chell Road in Stafford is closed 19:00 – 06:00 from Monday 8th April until Wednesday 17th April.
Service 101 will be diverting toward Stafford via A34 Queensway. Services toward Hanley will operate normal route.
There will be no service outside Sainsburys in Stafford.

The bus stop at Hilsea Crescent northbound will be closed 0930 to 1530 on the 22nd and 23rd April for road works. Please use the bus stop at Hilsea Lido. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
The 2 stop southbound at Cosham Health Centre will be closed 0930 to 1530 on the 24th & 25th April for road works. Please use the next bus stop in the same lay-by. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during these works.
The eastern end of Lake road will be closed between the 13th May and 26th May affecting services 3 and 7. Both services will divert via Holbrook Road, Arundel Street and Fratton road in both directions. These works are out of our control and may change at short notice. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
The bus stop northbound at Beechwood Road, London Road will be closed for two days between 0930 and 1530 on the 17th and 18th April. This will affect service 3 and 7.
