There will be a road closure along Alexandra Road, St Austell from Monday the 9th and Friday the 20th of June between the hours of 09:30 and 16:00.

This will affect the 09:33 and 13:43 271 service ONLY.

During these times, buses will be diverting via Kings Avenue, Carlyon Road, Polkyth Road and Clifden Road and rejoin normal line of route at Mount Charles Road. This diversion will apply in both directions.

A647 Stanningley Bypass Slip Road is closed to traffic at Dawsons Corner heading towards Bradford.

Traffic is tailing back to the exit slip road for Richardshaw Lane. Current queuing time is +15 minutes.

Previous changes using AI-driven software have led to an average 8.5% improvement in punctuality across over 60 routes in that time and First Bus believes these latest updates will continue to create a better and more reliable service for customers throughout Lanarkshire and Greater Glasgow.
