Queen Street will be closed from Monday 18 September until Tuesday 19th September 2023 between the hours of 20:00 & 06:00hrs. During this time, we are unable to serve Queen Street.

Services travelling UP EAST HILL will divert via BROOK STREET, MAGDALEN STREET & OSBORNE STREET.

Services travelling along the HIGH STREET will divert via EAST HILL, BROOK STREET & MAGDALEN STREET. Then return to line of route.

Diversion Route:

Towards Galleywood: The bus will exit the Army and Navy Roundabout onto Baddow Road, then onto Beehive Lane and follow the line of route from the junction of Firecrest Road.

Hamlet Drive is closed from Thursday 14th September until Saturday 16th September 2023. 

Buses will divert via Greenstead Library, Magnolia Drive and Avon Way to continue normal line of route.

Bus stops will not be served along Colchester High Street. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Wellington Road will be one way from Craigshaw Road to Greenbank Road heading to Cove from 09:00 on 16 September until 06:00 on 17 September.

At the Altens roundabout ( ALDI):
• 1st exit onto West Tullos Road
• continue to the next roundabout
• 2nd exit onto Abbotswell Road
• left onto Wellington Road
• resume normal service
