Services 5 and 28A Temporary Route Diversion, Bishopsfield Road, Fareham College.
Monday 27th July expected for 4 Weeks.

Due to the closure of the Junction of Bishopsfield Road and The Avenue, A27,
Routes 5 and 28A towards Fareham will divert via Longmynd Drive, Peak Lane, and the Avenue.

Passengers are advised to use alternative stops at either Longmynd Drive or The A27 College stops.

There has been an emergency closure of the A34 Stone Road, Tittensor. It looks like the road closure will be there until Tuesday, 4th August. The diversion:

Outbound:

The services are diverting via Trentham Gardens, Longton Road, Barlaston Old Road (BOD on corner), Meaford Road, the A34 and then normal route.

Inbound:

The services are diverting via the A34, The crossroads, Longton Road, The A34, then normal route.

Update 11:04 [30/07/2026]

Diversion has been confirmed to be extended until 04/09/2026

Due to roadworks from today, 27/07, until 07/08 04/09/2026, Preston Road will be closed, so we will not be able to serve Preston Road on Journeys to Abbey Manor Park. We will still serve Asda, and the journeys from Abbey Manor to Yeovil will be as normal. 

Crown Point Bridge is closed, and the services are currently diverting:

Swinnow exit / entry ramp to and from the bypass will be affected due to contraflow measures on the bypass.
