Barkby Road is closed outbound from 7th February ‘til 18th March 2025. We will divert as follows: 

Outbound; Normal route to Barkby Road (R) Lewisher Road (L) Victoria Road East (L) Thurmaston Lane (R) Humberstone Lane back to normal route.

Prince Avenue, Southend-on-Sea is closed from 19:00hrs to 23:59hrs on Friday 7th February 2025.

Due to the location of the road closure the X30 service (towards Southend-on-Sea only) will divert via Bridgwater Drive. All bus stops will be served as normal.

Figures released today show that 2024 was the busiest year for York’s Park and Ride since 2017, with the total number of journeys exceeding 4.5 million, almost one million higher than in 2023.

December saw the most trips for a decade, recording nearly 500,000 journeys, a 3.5 per cent increase on the previous highest monthly total set in December 2016.

Services continue to face impacts as a result of Victoria Road

Some 6/6a services are currently running upto 40 mins late as a result.

Short-term temporary diversion along City Road to be instated on alternating runs. 

Due to ongoing road works on Vicarage Way, Brook Way & Colvin Close, services are unable to serve Ings Lane Housing Estate.

Works are causing road blocks, services are using Station Road until further notice.

Countesswells Avenue will be closed from 08:00 on 20 February until 17:00 on 21 February.

Service 15 will turn at the old terminus.

The stop at Pinewood Avenue will be served as the terminus.

Davidson Gardens will be closed in both directions from 04:00 on 17 February until 17:00 on 07 March
