Bournville Road in Weston-super-Mare will be closed again to service X1 between 08:00 and 17:00 from Monday 27th November through to Friday 22nd December (20 days excluding weekends) to facilitate further carriageway works.

Services will be diverted and the only bus stops that will be missed are Kensington Road and Argyle Avenue on Bournville Road and passengers are advised to board or alight at the Lonsdale Avenue bus stop or Sunnyside Road bus stop in Clevedon Road in your correct direction of travel.

Closure in force: all the time

Due to a burst water main, Moulsham Drive will be closed for utility repair and maintenance works. The road will be closed, at all times, from the 09/11/2023 to 16/11/2023.

There has been an emergency closure along West Street in Penryn today (09/11/23) due to Southwest for a repairing water a leak.

This will affect our U1, U1A, U2 and U4 service towards Falmouth.

It is with regret that the service 376 will be unable to serve between Wells and Street for the Wells Carnival between the hours of 18:00 and 23:00 on Friday 17th November and between 18:00 and 23:59 for the Glastonbury Carnival on Saturday 18th November.

This is due to the amount of road closures that are in place and the difficulty in providing suitable diversion routes between Wells and Street. 

Passengers are advised to seek alternative transport arrangements for these closures.

Wells Carnival

Our revenue protection officers will be regularly riding on our bus network to ensure everyone is travelling with a valid, correctly issued ticket. Any tickets purchased from the driver must be retained throughout the journey, and any tickets on our First Bus App must be valid and ready to show.
