We're making some improvements to our university bus network for the 2024/25 academic year. These changes include extended routes, late night services and more buses to get you to lectures in time.

Due to an road traffic accident on Jenkin rd.

Services are to divert via Newman Rd, Merton Rd, Elm View Rd, Fife St, Barrow Rd - in both directions.

Due to unannounced road works on Nottingham Street.

Services are to divert onto Pittsmore rd in both directions.

Until further notice.

Due to unannounced road works, Old Sheffield Road has been closed in Catcliff Village.

Due to a lorry fire on the A50, we are unable to serve Uttoxeter Road and will be terminating at Meir Tesco.

Marsh Lane is currently closed for Roadworks.

We are unable to Serve the Terminus.

Services will Turn Right into Ings Way, follow the estate as usual, and wait time at the First bus stop on Station Road as they turn Left out of Ings Way.

Leicester Pride 2024

Leicester service 4/22B/25/26/54 Saturday 31-08-2024 from 11:30-14:30 will divert as follows:

4 and 22B

Outbound: Upon leaving the bus station around the teardrop to go back up Charles Street (L) Humberstone Gate East continue to Humberstone Road (L) Dysart Way (R) Belgrave Road back to normal route.

Inbound: Normal route to Belgrave Road (L) Dysart Way (R) Humberstone Road continue to Humberstone Gate (R) Charles Street (L) into the bus station.

Leicester Pride 2024

Leicester service 88/88A Saturday 31-08-2024 from 11:30-14:30 will divert as follows:

Outbound: Normal route to Charles Street (R) St Georges Way (R) Waterloo Way (R) Regent Road (L) Welford Road back to normal route

Inbound: Normal route to Newarke Street (R) Welford Road (L) Mill Street (R) Duke Street (L) Regent Road (L) Waterloo Way continue to St Georges Way (L) Charles Street back to normal route.

Due to roadworks on Church Lane, we are unable to turn into Wilson Road. 

Diversion via Main street inbound, Bank House outbound. 

On Wednesday 25th September and Thursday 26th September Victoria Road North will be closed for road works. Service 2 will divert in both directions via Elm Grove, Kings Road, Landport Terrace and Winston Churchill Avenue. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused during these works which are out of our control and may change at short notice.
