Service 87 diverting after coming up Thorney Green Road via Thorney Green and wait time at The Retreat

Thorney Green Road is shut

First Bus is advising customers that 24 of its services in the Bristol area will operate revised routes from Sunday 30 August to allow for major redevelopment work to be carried out in the Broadmead area of the city centre.  

The route changes involve the long-term closure of Union Street and a permanent end to traffic using The Horsefair and Penn Street. 

Winston Churchill Avenue

From 04/09/2026 [21:00] till 05/09/2026 [04:00]

Due to a road closure at Winston Churchill Avenue

The road closure on Preston Rd in Yeovil has now been cleared and replaced with traffic lights.

Somerset Service 51 will revert back to its normal route. 

Humberstone Lane is closed

8th August - 23rd August

Barkbythorpe Road to Colby Road closed due to road works. 

Outbound:

Normal route to Barkby Road (L) Troon Way (R) Nicklaus Road (R) Southdown Dr (L) Westdown Dr (R) Humberstone Lane (L) Colby Road (L) Colby Drive on to the normal route.

Inbound:

Normal route to Colby Drive (R) Colby Rd (R) Humberstone Ln (L) Westdown Dr (R) Southdown Dr (L) Nicklaus Rd (L) Troon Way (R) Barkby Road on to the normal route.

95 Service

Woodbourn Road will be closed again twice for resurfacing works.

385A SERVICE

Due to the closure of Bramwith Lane

Services are diverted along Stainforth Road in both directions 
 

371/372/373 services

Due to the closure of Sandford Road near Weston Road services are diverted as follows :-

Normal route to Greenfield Lane then Balby Road / Hall Flat Lane & Cross Street resuming normal route at the junction of Sandford Road & Weston Road.

Closure in place until 12 August [18:00]
