Laindon Link (by Albert Drive) is closed for daily roadworks (09:30 - 14:30) 15/05/2026 - 22/05/2026.

Due to the location of the roadworks - the B1 will divert in both directions via Hatterill and Laindon Link.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

The Colchester Stampede 10K returns on Sunday 17th May 2026 (between 08:00hrs and 11:00hrs). The event will start within Colchester Zoo and head out onto surrounding local roads - these roads will be temporarily closed to traffic whilst the event takes place. 

Please note. road closures may re-open earlier depending on how quickly event participants complete sections of the race.

Wickersley Road now clear

A non-bus road traffic collision is blocking Wickersley Road near the stag roundabout.

Services to diverting via East Bawtry Road and Herringthorpe Valley Rd in both Directions

To allow for resurfacing works on Friday, 22nd May, Motherwell Road will be closed.

Due to road closure, the 304 will be unable to serve Eagleswere Road in Boverton.  

The service will follow the road into Llantwit Major and serve the bus station as normal. 

A Burst Water main means the service is unable to serve Stapleton Rd & Lords Head Rd.

Services will use Edlington Lane from Warmsworth to Edlington

Delays Expected Due to Roadworks

Balby Road is down to One Lane at the Sanford Rd Area due to Roadworks

Roadworks now clear

Due to roadworks on South Anston West Street, the service is diverting:

Services diverted from North Anston via Sheffield Road, A57, Red Lion roundabout & Kiveton Lane in both directions.

Tyndall's Park Road near the University of Bristol will be closed from 09.30 until 15.30 on 19 May, for roadworks, affecting service U1.

Buses towards Stoke Bishop will divert after serving the Queen's Avenue stop via Woodland Road, Park Row and Clifton Triangle, missing out The Hawthorns and Tyndall's Park Road stops. Please use Queen's Avenue stop instead.

Buses heading from Stoke Bishop towards the City Centre will not be affected.
