Mile End Road, Colchester is closed for roadworks from Monday 14th April to Friday 4th July 2025.

Due to the location of the roadworks, the 2A and 87 services will divert in both directions via Bruff Close, Northern Approach Road and Mill Road.

A temporary bus stop(s) will be installed on Northern Approach - located near Hospital Path bus stop. 

The following stops will not be served in both directions:

Wharf Road, Stanford-le-Hope will have temporary traffic lights enforced from 08:00hrs to 17:00hrs on Thursday 17th April 2025.

Due to the location of the traffic lights - the Inn on the Green bus stop in both directions will not be served.

To board/disembark the 100 service - close to Inn on the Green - the nearest bus stops will be:

• Corringham Road
• Railway Station

Service 51

Larkhill Road will be closed 16th and 17th April 2025

Service 51 will be unable to serve Thorne Lane and Larkhill for the duration of the closer. This service will divert from Abbey Manor Park, Western Ave and back along Preston Road, picking up the normal route from the bottom of Larkhill Road.
