From start of service on the 10th of May 2026 until 17:30 Services 19, 19A, 56 &91 will operate the diversion route below;

Towards Ireland Wood/Tinshill: From Burley Road, onto Kirkstall hill, Morris Lane, Spen Lane, then Queenswood Dr.

Towards City: From Spen Lane, onto Morris Lane, Kirkstall Hill resuming route from Burley Road.

Service 19,19A &56 | Leeds Uni Varsity Rugby

From 29/04/2026 17:30 to 19:00 then 20:45 to 21:30 the diversion below will operate during the Leeds Uni Varsity Rugby.

Service 19,19A

Towards Eden Drive: Burley Rd, onto Kirkstall Hill, Kirkstall Lane, then Queenswood Dr.

Towards City: From Queenswood Dr, onto Kirkstall Lane, Kirkstall Hill, then Burley Road.

Service 56

• *Update added 27/04/2026* The road closure has been extended and will no longer end on the 25/04/2026. The road remains open on 27th and 28th April 2026.
• *Update added 21/04/2026* The diversion route has been amended and will not use the new bus lane.
• *Update added 16/04/2026* This road closure is no longer ALL THE TIME. This is now a timed nightly road closure.

Peldon Road, Abberton is closed for roadworks on Wednesday 22nd April 2026.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 68 will be unable to serve Peldon until the works have been completed.

The 68 will divert in both directions via Mersea Road / Colchester Road (B1025).

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

• St Ives Road
• Lower Road
• Kemps Farm
• The Rose

Service 48 - Wigton Lane, Road Surface Dressing

Service 48 will be unable to get to Wigton Moor due to the closure of Wigton Lane which is due to take place on 16th April 09.30 - 15.30 for Surface Dressing.

This service will turn at Leeds Grammar School roundabout and restart at the Alwoodley Gates stop towards Leeds.

Service 27 - Spen Road Closed

Due to Road surface dressing taking place, Spen Road will be closed and the 27 service will use the following diversion; 

Otley Road, Lawnswood Roundabout, Ring Road, Spen Lane.

This will be weather dependent on the day. 

Saturday 18th April 2026 to Sunday 19th April 2026

St.Stephens bus stop supension BB,BC,BD,BR,BQ,BS

Due to the above, Charcoal line 40,40A, 41,X41 will drop off and pick up from stand R in the bus station.

SERVICES 11,11A,12,14,15,16,36,37,38,39 will pick up and drop off Castle Meadow only.

Service 28 - Cancelled

Due to an issue with the vehicle the 11:00 am 28 service from Minehead to Taunton will not be running.

Coggeshall Road, Braintree is closed for roadworks from 08:00hrs 22/04/2026 to 06:00hrs 23/04/2026. 

Due to the location of the road closure - the 70 / 370 services will be placed on diversion:

Towards Chelmsford: Normal line of route. All bus stops served.

Towards Halstead: The 70 will divert via Pierrefitte Way, High Street, St Michael's Road, Fairfield Road, Manor Road, Victoria Street and Railway Street.

Services 41/41A/X41 - Diversion 

Broad Street, Bungay will be closed from 18.45 pm tonight. 

All departures leaving Norwich after 17.55 pm tonight will be diverted via Flixton.

Services 41/41A/X41 terminating in Bungay will operate the Bardolph Road loop in the opposite direction to normal and then serve all stops on their way to Street Mary's (Bungay town centre)

The only exception to this will be the 18.25 pm X41 service from City to Halesworth (Last bus to Halesworth) –
