First Bus has confirmed it is investing to continue operating Service 65 between Glasgow City Centre and Halfway on a modified timetable.

Following extensive engagement with the local community, local authorities and political representatives in recent weeks to understand their concerns, First Bus has committed to run Service 65 at a reduced hourly frequency from Monday 14th July.

The first trip towards the city centre will leave Rutherglen Town Hall at 6:42am, arriving at Osborne Street at 7:02am, and from Halfway at 7:07am, arriving at Osborne Street at 8:02am.

Mundon Road, Maldon is closed for overnight roadworks from Monday 1st September to Friday 12th September 2025.

The road will be closed from 21:00hrs each evening and will re-open from 06:00hrs each morning.

The 31 service will be permitted through the road closure. If bus stops are accessible, they will be served.

There will be slight delays to service, as the bus will be passing through controlled works area.

Baddow Road, Chelmsford is closed for overnight roadworks from Tuesday 29th July to Friday 1st August 2025.

The road will be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and will re-open from 05:00hrs each morning.

Due to the location of the road closure - the C7, 31 and 336 services will be placed on diversion:

Silverthorne Lane in St Phillips will be closed overnight to service 16 between 20:00 and 08:00 on Sunday 13th July to facilitate carriageway works

Service 16 will be diverted via Avonvale Road, Barton Hill Road and Days Road in both directions.

This closure will only apply to the early Monday morning journeys in both directions.
