Fitzwilliam Gate, Cumberland Street & South Lane will be closed for approximately one week for remedial National Powergrid works following the recent burst water main.

X1, X2  services will divert via Furnival Square roundabout, Eyre Street (serving the Fire Station stop), Bramall Lane roundabout, Eyre Street.

To allow for emergency manhole repairs, from Tuesday, 2nd December until the works are complete, Orkney Street will be closed.

Due to road works on Saturday, 6th December 08:00 until Monday, 8th December 06:00, Dumbarton Road/Dunglass will be closed  East Bound only.

Due to 4-way lights on roadworks on Wales Road, Kiveton.

"Black Alert" has been declared at Treliske Hospital in Truro due to the numbers of waiting ambulances.

Buses on PR1 and PR1A (Truro P&R service) will divert via the Trelawney Wing Entrance in both directions as the stops outside the Knowledge Spa are inaccessible for buses.

Buses on service 87 will serve the usual stop, but will divert via Treliske Roundabout on route to Truro.

The Transport for Cornwall app has been updated with this information, and RTPI messages have been posted on the affected stops.

Halstead Torchlight Procession returns on Wednesday 3rd December 2025. 

There will be a rolling road block on High Street, Halstead from 19:00hrs to 19:30hrs which will impact the following journeys:

• 17:55 Chelmsford Bus Station to Halstead
• 19:15 Halstead to Chelmsford Bus Station

These two journeys will terminate/recommence journeys at Bird in Hand.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Service 387/387A | Stainforth Church | Disruption

Due to many cars parked at a busy funeral, we are unable to serve the Stainforth Church loop. Services are using East Lane / Thorne Road in both directions until the roads are cleared.

Towards White Rose: From Selby Road/Colton Roundabout, Join M1 South, Off at Junction 44, Leeds Road A639, Styebank Lane resuming route.
