Victoria Park Drive South

Closure

To allow for works, on Sunday 6th November between 08:00hrs and 11:00hrs Victoria Park Drive South Eastbound will be closed.

Services 1,1A,1B,1C,1D & X4 will divert via Dumbarton Road Whiteinch.

Please note: Due to the Royal Visit to York Minster on Wednesday 9th November there will be temporary road closures in place. Please see details below.

As per tradition, the royal party will arrive in the city via Micklegate Bar, where an official ceremony will be held.

Blossom St/Queen St/Nunnery Lane junction will be closed between approx. 10:55 and 11:15. Traffic will be held on Blossom St, Queen St and Nunnery Lane until the road reopens.

Bundle ticket prices from 1st January 2025

In the office a few days a week, or maybe you only use the bus Monday to Friday? Our range of day ticket bundles are perfect if you need some flexibility in your bus travel. 

Bundle tickets are available exclusively on the First Bus app - just activate each ticket on the day you need it and use them all before your bundle expires. There's no need to use them on consecutive days. Each day ticket is valid for unlimited travel from the first service of the day to the last!

Please note: Rougier Street will be closed between the hours of 05:00 - 09:00 on Sunday 6th November due to crane operations. 

Diversion Route:
4 terminate on Station Road.
6 &10 via Skeldergate, Nunnery Lane, Queens Street Normal route Station Avenue. Use in both directions.
Service 66 and 67 Via Skeldergate return to merchantgate via Piccadilly.

C5 Service

Heath Drive will be closed to traffic from 7th - 11th November 2022

During this closure the C5 service will divert from Heath Drive, right into Juniper Crescent, and right into Heath Drive and return to line of route (This may be subject to change).

Stops missed will be: Lime Walk, Heath Drive and Alder Drive.

Nearest stops are: Tylers Close and Gloucester Road Shops

Service 102/104

Harwich High Street Closure 8th - 10th November 2022 from 20:00hrs - 05:00hrs.

Diversion towards Harwich - From the High Street, left at traffic lights into Kingsway, right into Station Road, left into the High Street and return to line of route.

Diversion towards Colchester - will be the same diversion in reverse.
